JHS Band is a 2025 Virginia Honor Band!
Both Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble earned superior ratings this weekend at the Virginia State Assessment. Superior is the highest rating possible, and Wind Ensemble performed the highest level music on the state rating scale.
Because marching band earned a superior at its state assessment in October and Wind Ensemble earned a superior at the concert state assessment in March, the Justice Band is now a 2025 Virginia Honor Band for the 15th time in the last 40 years!
