Marching Band State Assessment: Oct 29th
State assessments are a co-curricular event for Marching Bands in Virginia. This assessment is also the first step on our road to earning the Honor Band designation. Marching Wolves have achieved this honor annually in most years of the last decade. Honor Band is awarded to bands that earn a "Superior" rating in both band assessments of the school year - marching and concert.
We're excited for our musicians and guards! And once again, we support them in this performance, providing food, logistical assistance, and the Pit Crew, just as we've done for competitions.
This year's assessment is at Rock Ridge HS in Ashburn, VA. Musicians and guard meet in the band room at 7:30a. Parents help with food and loading the truck beginning around 7:45a. Check the band calendar for details and signup to help here.
